Daniel Spetrini, PA-C, MSHS
Daniel Spetrini, PA-C, MSHS, is the Physician Assistant to Dr. Andrew Green. He has been with University Orthopedics since 2009. In that role, he specializes primarily in disorders of the shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity.
A native of Rhode Island, Daniel was born and raised in Warwick and attended Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. He has served in the United States Air Force and is now a commissioned officer in the 143rd Medical Group of the Rhode Island Air National Guard. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from The University of Arizona he went on to complete a Master of Science in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies at the prestigious Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences of Cornell University in New York City. His Physician Assistant training including orthopaedic surgery rotations at the Hospital for Special Surgery and the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and Licensed by the State Medical Board of Rhode Island.
Daniel’s education and training make him an integral member of the University Orthopedics staff. His duties and responsibilities include: evaluation and management of musculoskeletal disorders, ordering and interpreting laboratory work and diagnostic imaging studies, office procedures such as splinting, casting, and injections, as well as assisting in the pre and post-operative management of surgical patients.
He is married with three young children.
