The mission of University Orthopedics is to provide the people of southern New England with a full spectrum of orthopedic care from infancy to geriatrics. Our physicians and highly skilled support staff follow extensive treatment protocols that involve diagnosis, care, rehabilitation and preventive education. All of this is accomplished in a cost-effective manner at a level of excellence equivalent to the highest international standards.
Within the framework of a university-based academic medical center, University Orthopedics strongly supports its resident education program and has undertaken a leadership role in orthopedic research. In addition, we function as an accessible regional resource for consultation and referral by encouraging collaboration with other physicians and surgeons.
In an environment that fosters not only educational growth and research, but also cooperation, courtesy and respect for the individual, University Orthopedics successfully meets the needs of its patients.
Our goal is to provide patients with the best orthopedic care available, and to do so in a way that they find convenient and comfortable. That’s why we’ve grown to include over 25 doctors practicing in six offices throughout Rhode Island.
